Common questions
How can I show a sign full screen?
Enter the words, check the live preview, and select Full Screen. Tap to pause or continue, swipe sideways to tune the speed or reverse the direction, pinch to change text size, and use the on-screen exit control when finished.
Where do I adjust pace and direction?
Use the editor to choose the speed and left, right, up, down, or bounce. Sideways swipes during full-screen viewing make quick speed and direction adjustments.
Why has the movement slowed or stopped?
The app follows the iOS Reduce Motion setting. To allow the complete movement, check Settings > Accessibility > Motion > Reduce Motion; leaving it enabled gives you a gentler or still display.
Are brightness and auto-lock put back afterwards?
Those display settings change only during an active full-screen session. Your previous brightness and auto-lock choices are restored when you leave, background the app, or an error interrupts the session.
What is microphone permission for?
Permission is requested only when you enable the beat-aware response. If you declined it, use iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone. Sound is assessed live and is never recorded, kept, or transmitted.
Can I use one of my photos behind the text?
Background selection uses Apple's PhotosPicker, which gives the app only the photo you pick. Select Photo in the styling tools; applying it as a background requires Premium.
How can I make an MP4 or GIF?
With Premium, open Export and select MP4 or GIF. Leave the app open while it renders locally, then choose whether to save or share the finished file.
What do the free and Premium versions include?
Free includes unlimited text entry and full-screen display, still and horizontal scrolling, left/right direction, speed and text-size controls, basic high-contrast styles, 5 starter situations, and up to 3 saved boards. One Premium purchase unlocks unlimited boards, custom templates, the complete font and Aurora Pearl style collection, vertical and bouncing movement, spacing and visual effects, photo backgrounds, beat response, countdowns, and on-device MP4/GIF export. There are no recurring subscription payments.
How can I recover my Premium purchase?
Open the Premium screen and select Restore Purchase using the Apple ID that made the purchase. StoreKit checks the record held by Apple and restores an eligible purchase without a second charge.
